Meet Olivia
Warm, observant, and refreshingly honest.
If you've found your way here, there's a good chance you're someone who has worked incredibly hard to build a life you're proud of.
If you've found your way here, there's a good chance you're someone who has worked incredibly hard to build a life you're proud of. You show up for people. You're dependable, thoughtful, and capable. On paper, things look good. But internally, you're exhausted from constantly questioning yourself, replaying conversations, feeling guilty when you rest, or wondering why your accomplishments never seem to feel like enough.
Those are the people I love working with.
As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in downtown Nashville, I specialize in working with driven individuals and couples who want more than symptom relief—they want to understand themselves. Many of my clients come to therapy already knowing what they want their life to look like. They have goals, ambition, and insight. What feels missing is understanding why they still feel stuck, disconnected, or unable to enjoy the life they've worked so hard to build.
My approach is collaborative, transparent, and practical. I use evidence-based approaches including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Gottman Method techniques. I don't believe in forcing every client into the same model. Your story, personality, relationships, and goals are unique, and therapy should reflect that.

Training & Approach
Clients often tell me they appreciate that I explain the “why” behind patterns, emotions, and behaviors instead of expecting them to simply trust the process. Understanding creates freedom. When you understand why your mind keeps moving the finish line, why conflict feels so overwhelming, or why rest feels uncomfortable, you're able to respond differently instead of repeating the same patterns.
I also believe therapy doesn't have to feel intimidating or mysterious. You'll always know why we're focusing on something, what we're working toward, and how the process connects to your goals. I see therapy as a partnership. You're the expert on your life; my role is to bring clinical knowledge, curiosity, structure, and honest feedback that helps you hear your own inner voice more clearly.
Understanding Creates Freedom
You’re the expert on your life; my role is to bring clinical knowledge, curiosity, structure, and honest feedback that helps you hear your own inner voice more clearly.
My style is warm, observant, and refreshingly honest. We'll probably laugh together. We'll also have conversations that challenge long-held beliefs, uncover patterns you haven't noticed before, and help you build greater confidence—not just in your abilities, but in your ability to trust yourself.
I especially enjoy working with young professionals, high achievers, perfectionists, people-pleasers, and couples who feel like they're having the same argument over and over again. If you're ready to stop living on autopilot and start feeling more connected to yourself, your relationships, and the life you've built, I'd be honored to walk alongside you.

Outside the Office
I love slow living
Outside the therapy office, you'll usually find me with a “grandma hobby”, reading, sewing, or recreating my favorite restaurant meals at home. I love spending time with my partner and our child. I love slow living, even if the pace of parenting doesn't always allow for it. Prioritizing quieter moments where we can slow down helps remind me that life isn't only about achieving more—it's also about learning to enjoy what's already here.
I Am Your Employee
