Individual & Couples Therapy · Nashville, Tennessee

When everything finally slows down…
your mind doesn’t.

  • You replay conversations.
  • Second-guess yourself.
  • Wonder why accomplishments never feel satisfying.
  • Question whether you're doing enough—even when everyone else thinks you're doing amazing.

Therapy isn't about becoming someone different.

It’s about understanding why your brain keeps convincing you that who you already are isn’t enough.

Who I Work With

People don’t come to see me because they’re “broken.”

They come see me because they've mastered productivity, achievement, responsibility, and problem-solving. Even with all of these talents, somewhere along the way you feel that you have lost yourself. You begin to wonder where YOUR place is in this life you have built.

Together we'll make sense of why your mind keeps falling into the same patterns so you can respond differently instead of reacting automatically.

  • Young professionals & high achievers
  • Perfectionists & people-pleasers
  • Couples having the same argument over and over
See if we’re a good fit

The Work

The patterns I help untangle

  1. 01Feeling guilty when you rest.
  2. 02Overthinking conversations for days.
  3. 03Believing every accomplishment was just “what you were supposed to do.”
  4. 04Feeling responsible for keeping everyone else comfortable.
  5. 05Never knowing whether you're asking for too much.
  6. 06Feeling disconnected from yourself despite having a full life.
  7. 07Wondering whether people genuinely like you or simply tolerate you.
  8. 08Struggling to enjoy success because you're already focused on the next goal.
  9. 09Avoiding conflict until resentment builds.
  10. 10Feeling like you're living according to expectations instead of your own values.
01

Therapy shouldn't feel mysterious.

02

I help driven people understand themselves so success actually feels meaningful.

03

You don't need to work harder. You need your life to finally feel like it's yours.

Two Ways to Work Together

Individual & couples therapy

I.

Individual Therapy

For the driven and the depended-upon. You want to understand why your mind keeps moving the finish line, and how to finally feel at home in your own life. That is the work we do together.

Individual therapy
II.

Couples Therapy

One partner pursues. The other shuts down. One wants reassurance. The other feels criticized. Our work isn’t deciding who’s right. It’s understanding the cycle that’s keeping both of you stuck. The relationship is my client, not an individual.

Couples therapy

Meet Olivia

Understanding creates freedom.

As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in downtown Nashville, I specialize in working with driven individuals and couples who want more than symptom relief—they want to understand themselves.

Clients often tell me they appreciate that I explain the “why” behind patterns, emotions, and behaviors instead of expecting them to simply trust the process. When you understand why your mind keeps moving the finish line, why conflict feels so overwhelming, or why rest feels uncomfortable, you're able to respond differently instead of repeating the same patterns.

My style is warm, observant, and refreshingly honest. We'll probably laugh together.

How Therapy Works

Therapy shouldn’t feel like guessing.

You deserve to understand why we’re doing what we’re doing. I explain the process, the research behind interventions when it’s helpful, and what I notice along the way so therapy feels collaborative rather than confusing.

04

The conversation becomes yours

You are the expert of your own story. I’ll ask lots of questions, not because I’m doubting your experience, but because I want to understand it as fully as possible.

The “What Ifs”

Every question is a welcome one

What if I don’t know what to talk about? What if I cry? What if this isn’t “bad enough” for therapy? These are the questions people are most nervous to ask, answered the way I’d answer them in session.
